Democracy doesn’t automatically lead to more equity of people, regardless of what we’re told. Look at the so-called democracies of the world. But, nonetheless, it is at least the most favourable system we’ve designed.

What South Africa needs is time for old wounds to heal, and attitudes to change (both black and white), and only then can it move forward. I wish it all the best.

Truthfully speaking, I am more than impressed in how they’ve handled themselves so far: they could have ended up with civil conflict and war like so many other countries that have gone through such drasic political and social change.

Yes, they have their problems but in a way they’re handling themselves a load better than was ever expected or anticipated.

Kudos to them.

Democracy or no democracy, a group of people will only so far tolerate discrimination and disrespect; however, at some point Newton’s Third Law will become a reality for white South Africans if they continue to harass and disrespect the majority.

Btw, all those “reporters” working for the BBC are most of them either white South Africans or white Zimbabweans – that’s why they report bullshit.
